In the spring, the fields where I lived as a child would flood. My sister, Andre, and I would go out and swim in the field ponds. We always came home muddy and happy.
After accomplishing a ton of drawings for a project I am currently working on, I am suddenly really loose! Yay! I just whipped up this painting of a cute mermaiden. I am really enjoying working with watercolors in a looser way. I am truly inspired by a good friend and wonderful illustrator, Amy Farrier.
