About Me
Hello, my name is Marsha Riti. I currently live in Austin, Texas but I grew up in the sticks. My home town Hockley was sparsely populated so using my imagination was my main form of entertainment. Since then using my imagination, usually for art, has become a habit.
After receiving my BFA from the University of Texas at Austin I went to work for a string of locally owned businesses, some of which were related to the arts, others were not. These jobs were great learning experiences: I can now show great professionalism in the face of adversity and I have also found my true love, illustration.
I hope you find my work to be both engaging and playful. I use a mix of handcrafted elements with some digital.
When I am not at my desk you can find me doing a number of things which include: cleaning, cooking, gardening, doing pottery, and hanging out with my awesome boyfriend and friends. You can check out my obsession with mid-century modern at my other blog, Mixed Bag.
