Hello all! You may have noticed that I have been absent from my blog. This is the reason…

Yay!!!
I’ve been having a great time working on the Critter Club chapter book series by Little Simon. With the help of my wonderful Art Director, Laura Roode, the books are turning out beautifully! I am so excited to see these on book store shelves! This is a series for seven year-old girls who have a penchant for cute animals. The first book (Amy and the Missing Puppy) will be available January 1st. I hope you love the series as much as I do!
Hello All,
Please come to my book launch for The Picky Little Witch at Book People October 1st at 11:30am. I’ll be reading the book and signing copies. I will also be in costume as Little Witch/Picky. Please come in costume. There will be a contest for the best dressed with a prize awarded!

A big thanks to everyone for all the support! And another thank you to those who participated in the contest. I have the winner’s name in hand and it’s…

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!
I am the illustrator of a cute and humorous Halloween themed picture book titled “The Picky Little Witch” written by Elizabeth Brokamp. I just received my box of books from Pelican Publishing, and I think this good news deserves a giveaway! I’ll be giving away one advance copy of “The Picky Little Witch” signed by both Elizabeth and me as well as an 8.5″x11″ print from the book.
*Anyone who tweets a link to my blog post with the hashtag #pickywitch on July 27th will have their name put into the hat to win!*
If you want to ensure that you get a book, you can pre-order your own copy today!

Hello All,
I have good news that some of you may already know about. I have just signed with an agent! Her name is Teresa Kietlinski and she’s with Prospect Agency. She will now be representing my art and writing. This is a great thing for me because Teresa will be able to get my work in the hands of more publishers then I would be able to do on my own. Another great thing is that she found me! About three weeks ago I was researching publishers and agents when I received an email from Teresa explaining her interest in my work. How cool is that?! She represents amazing artists that I admire like:
Kevin Sherry,
Luke Lamarca,
Kirstie Edmunds,
Monica Carnesi,
Kit Chase,
Joyce Wan,
and Sonia Sanchez.
So…Yay!!!
